Questions
Is the AI always right?
It is very good at explaining vocabulary and grammar, but like any AI it can make mistakes. Its answers name the word, root and rule they rely on, so you can check them in the dictionary. For religious texts, treat its explanations as language help, not as rulings or commentary.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Plan & billing in two clicks. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
What happens to my words if I go back to Free?
Nothing is deleted. All your saved words and review history stay. If you have more than 300, you can still review them — you just cannot add new ones until you are under the limit.
Will I be charged during the free trial?
No. You pay nothing for 7 days, and we email you 2 days before the trial ends. Cancel before then and you will never be charged.
Do you offer discounts for students or schools?
Teachers can create classes for free and students join with a class code. For school-wide Pro licenses, contact us from the Help page.
Why is PDF scanning limited?
Every uploaded page is read by an OCR service that we pay for per page. Free includes 25 pages a month and Pro 1,000 (250 during the free trial; the rest come once your plan starts, which you can do early from Plan & billing). If you need more, add 1,000 pages for $3 from Plan & billing. Books in the public library are already scanned and never count toward your pages.
What if I run out of voice minutes?
Carry on by text, or go Pro for 300 minutes a month (30 during the free trial — start your plan early from Plan & billing for the rest). On Pro you can also buy more from Plan & billing or right in Genius: 60 minutes for $2.40 or 300 minutes for $9.99. Bought minutes last 12 months and are used once the month's included minutes run out; those reset on the 1st.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, and wallets such as Apple Pay and Link, through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; any sales tax or VAT where you live is added on the payment page, and your bank may convert to your local currency.
